My Best Striped Socks Damaged

Yikes, my wool socks have been eaten and I have no toes left not to mention the fact that the stretchy elastic part has been shredded with a pair of sharp teeth. Ok, so whom did laundry last time and why are my socks in this disgusting condition? Oh my Girls Socks! Oh you bet I do and while I am at it I want to find out if the agitator is on the fritz and chewing up my woolies and/or shredding my elastic bits.
